13-year-old suffers heart attack playing baseball

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Ada County emergency workers say a 13-year-old ball player suffered a heart attack as he ran the bases at Lake Hazel Middle School on Wednesday.
Paramedic supervisor Mike Nugent says bystanders jumped in and performed CPR on the teen until paramedics arrived. The teen was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Meridian where his condition is unknown. |
